Description
- Record, verify, and process financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other financial documentation.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Prepare financial reports, schedules, and management summaries as required.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up on pending balances.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial transactions, payments, and supporting documents.
- Assist in audit activities by providing required financial records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting standards, and applicable tax regulations.
- Identify discrepancies in financial records and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and organizational information.
- Perform other finance-related duties assigned by the reporting manager.
Experience And Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- ACCA/CA/ACMA (part-qualified) will be an added advantage.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
